Research on psychology of decision making suggests that people tend to rely on their habits and take short cuts in their thinking map subconsciously. Decision makers need are required to make use of data, discover rules and adjust strategies accordingly. Right decisions are made based on right understanding of data, avoiding decision traps, and knowing your own mindset as well as misconceptions. Brought to you by the accomplished faculty of Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Rationality & Biases in Decision Making is designed to help you make even better decisions in business, work, interpersonal relationships, and life at large.Participants are requiredto interact with faculty in the whole program.
Rationality & Biases in Decision Making aims to enable the participants to use Big Data as a resource and a tool, identify the source of decision biases, learn the impact of such biases to work, consumption and investment, avoid or even leverage these thinking and ultimately, to make better decisions.
