This program is specially designed for senior executives. After systematically learning those modules, students will learn theories and decision-making methods related to modern management have a deeper understanding of various business models and equip management and decision-making capabilities necessary in current economic, social and technological environment.

With an excellent platform provided by Shanghai Jiaotong University, students will be able to benefit a lot from the teaching, service and resources provided here, which are only available in top business schools in China. The program aims to help students broaden their vision, enrich their knowledge, improve leadership and expand personal as well as business networking.

Besides courses, there are also various lectures, workshops and forums available to help students broaden their vision, develop their sensitivity to business opportunities and humanity and improve their performance and execution.

The course is composed of 4 modules which will be completed in 24 days.

 

Module 1: Team building and practice
Outward bound

Outward bound aims to cultivate cooperation and entrepreneurial spirit. By participating in well-designed games, activities and contests, students will become stronger physically and mentally and be able to work better in a team.

Simulated Management Decision-Making
The course will simulate important business decisions that you will probably encounter in the process of business operation in order to help you learn how to work in a team, how to cooperate with others, how to lead others and how to make decision.

Module 2: General management
Managerial Economics

The course will analyze the fundamental decision-making principles of business operation and other management activities from the perspective of economics and discuss the relationship between management decision-making activities and market environment. The goal of the course is to introduce basic economic concepts related to decision-making and market environment, relevant theories and analysis tools and discuss their values for management.

Financial management and statement analysis
The course aims to introduce fundamental theories in financial management and new trends incorporate practice to help managers better monitor the financial situation of the company. At the same time, the course will explain how to analyze financial statements to help students learn how to evaluate the financial situation and achievements of the company and choose the best financial strategy to increase profits in the future.

Operation and supply chain management
Operation and supply chain management are part of every business activity. This course will mainly the skills and tools used in manufacturing, distributing and service activities, best practices in supply chain management, quality management, purchasing and negotiation skills.

Marketing
Excellent marketing and brand are powerful driving force for enterprises to prevail in competition and get profits. The course will focus on real problems that managers might face in real situations and help students learn how to combine marketing and branding and implement decisions successfully.

Human resources management
The course aims to help students get a deeper understanding of the latest development in the field of human resource management by studying and analyzing cases and learn how to use relevant theories in the field to promote individual performance and team performance and facilitate organizational change. The course will also explain human resources management and procedure planning from the perspective of the strategy of the company.

Interpreting the tax system
The course will discuss various tax planning methods and all the major aspects of managing risks related to tax to help managers broaden their vision in the field of tax planning and promote decision-making.
 
Chinese Economy and adaptive strategies of Chinese enterprises
The development of companies should be based on the trend and feature of the macro economy of China. This course will provide some adaptive strategies that companies can use to improve their strategies and business operation by interpreting China’s economic development and analyzing the environment of market economy.

Corporate investment and financing and capital operation
The course will help students understand and analyze sources of corporate value, master the methods and skills for making decisions related to capital operation, get to know the value and process of merger and acquisition, analyze special issues in this field in China and discuss hot issues in the field.

Strategic management
The course will help you create the framework for the establishment and implementation of the strategy and explain how to understand and implement corporate strategy in the context of globalization to grasp opportunities in the market and increase the competitiveness and market value of the company. 

Module 3: Expand your vision
Emotion and stress management

The course will explain how to find inner peace from the perspective of a senior executive, who can change the environment on the one hand, and control his emotion on the other hand. It takes intelligence to change the environment, but wisdom to control emotions. The truly wise can understand the essence of life, control the direction he or she is going and know what he or she really wants.

Chinese Culture and Management
The philosophy of how to behave and relate to others, which is an essential part of Chinese culture, is reflected in every aspect of our life. We will gain a lot of wisdom and management tips from this course.
 
Leadership and Execution
The course will mainly discuss how to enhance leadership in order to manage others in a systematic way and be able to manage change in uncertain environment. At the same time, this course will help managers to know more about teams and learn knowledge and skills related to leadership.

Innovation and profit model
Entrepreneurs need to constantly updating their mindset, transform innovation into actual performance by managing innovations effectively and explore new profit models so that core competencies that competitors can’t copy will be created. 

Negotiation and communication
The course aims to help students design effective SNR, establish right mindset and create the management system for negotiation and communication by analyzing common issues in negotiation and external and internal pressure in negotiation.

Module 4 Case and Practice
Case study and writing

Cases are widely used in business schools nowadays and writing cases is a good way to improve managers’ ability to analyze problems. This course will not only teach students how to write cases, but also help them apply what they learn in classroom into business practice.

Sharing good cases
During this course, well-written cases will be selected by the instructor for comment and discussion. In the process, students will draw lessons from it and exchange their management experience and therefore improve their management skills
