On March 30, 2019, the Changzhou’s Private Entrepreneurs Team Building “New Century Talent Project” 2019 Profit-making Model Competition was successfully held at the Party School of Changzhou Municipal Committee. Han Hongwei, Vice Chairman of Changzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, Wang Yun, Secretary General, Zhao Ling, Section Chief of Liaison Office, Director Gao Jingxin and Deputy Director Sun Yifei of Executive Education Center of Antai College Economics • Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University attended the event. The mentor group was composed of Fan Huizhong, Founding Partner of Binfu Capital, Ma Hong, Managing Director of Shanghai Qipan Investment Management Co., Ltd., Shao Weidong, Deputy General Manager of Investment Management of Jiuzhou Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd., and Wang Zhonghui, Executive Partner of 365 Investment Group. Seven entries on the profit-making model in the contest were scored and reviewed.

The “Daily Drinks” Project of student Dong Lin from the class 2 is committed to becoming a new model of beverage service operators, empowering restaurants and enhancing sales through unified management and optimal services. The hydrogen fuel cell assembly project of student Liu Jiangang of Qianwu class is an in-depth study of technology. His company has an international technician team and a team of top domestic experts, with leading global technologies in all key parts of hydrogen fuel cell system production. The project of Cha Xiaofeng of Qianliu class is about the integrated waste processing equipment and operation. His company is currently integrating complete technologies and equipment for integrated treatment of dry burning, high-salt wastewater and landfill leachate; in the meantime, he is transforming and upgrading the company's production and operation mode, optimizing and subdividing products, customers and markets and making the company strong, professional and big. The Jinzi Environmental Project of student Xie Xiaodong of Qianjiu class also focuses on the environmental protection, taking the market as the leading factor and creating a new model of water treatment marketing. The Beauty Project of student Zhou Xiaoxue of Qianshiyi class aims to empower beauty with technology and AI. The Gongju Box Cloud Project of student Li Lei of class12 is the world's first 3D industrial cloud platform, designed to provide manufacturers with innovative product display and communication form. The platform brings together millions of buyers and suppliers, as well as a large number of industrial production personnel to build the world's largest online 3D visualization B2B, 2C exchange and trading platform, and a closed-loop 3D industrial ecological industry chain. The Eslite Agricultural Project of student Zhu Dong of class 12 revolves around the Changzhou Municipal Government's efforts to build the Changzhou Small Vegetable Garden. Starting from vegetable planting and distribution, the company will improve the supply chain system through high-frequency driving low-frequency strategy, and develop a membership system through farming education. To sum it up, an innovative business model will be used to serve citizens in Changzhou.

The roadshows of the students were recognized and supported by the project mentors, and the mentors also put forward a number of suggestions for improvement. For the Daily Drink Project, the mentors believe that it should focus more on the core pain points and solutions of the restaurant, constantly improve its core products and profit models, and the financing plan can be refined. For the Jinzi Environmental Project, the mentors believe that the sewage treatment project is greatly affected by the policy. The current target customers and its core capabilities are not clear enough. The technology, products, and sales channels are not focused enough, and the direction of use of raised funds remains to be cleared. For the Beauty Project, the judges agree that the prospects of the medical aesthetics are promising, but the logic of the business model is not clear enough. In the future development, we must pay attention to retain the senior practitioners in the enterprise. For the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Project, the mentors point out that the company's technology is excellent, but the marketing team is weak, and the listing entity and the basis for valuation of the company should be clear. As a project with a long duration of R&D and production, the timing and return on investment can be more specifically demonstrated in future plans. For the Changzhou Small Vegetable Garden Project, the mentors believe that agricultural and food safety issues are also a good area to tap into, but there is no clear description of the target customers, the pain points and specific solutions, and the platform or supply chain should be focused on numerous opportunities. For the Integrated Waste Treatment Project, the mentors believe that the application scenario and financial arrangement should become more focused, and the essence of the business model can be better refined. For the Gongju Box Cloud Project, the mentors put forward comments and suggestions on the direction of market drainage and the way in which the platform charges. Later, the students on the scene also raise their own questions and suggestions. Then, Ma Hong, on behalf of the mentors, have summarized the event and given a brief introduction to how to explain their business model and project highlights in a limited time.
