On May 13, 2019, Antai College Economics • Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University welcomed 50 students from the IEMBA China Business Course of the St. Gallen University in Switzerland. They would have one-week Chinese business courses at the Xuhui Campus of Jiao Tong University.

Tomas Casas, Academic Director of IEMBA, St. Gallen, and Shi Weilei, Academic Director of the St. Gallen Program of Antai Executive Education respectively made a speech. This study has laid a solid foundation for the IEMBA students of St. Gallen University to understand Jiao Tong University, Shanghai and China. The students were shocked about the rapid development of the Chinese economy and application of rising big data and artificial intelligence in various industries in China. They will also further interact with Jiao Tong University and the Chinese companies through business practices.

China and Switzerland have a long history of interaction. The exchanges between the two countries began with trade cooperation. Switzerland was the first continental European country to sign the China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement with China. Through the economic, academic and scientific exchanges between the two sides, the innovative strategic partnership will be implemented, and bilateral high-tech cooperation will be forthcoming.
